A stunning hand-crafted one-twelfth scale miniature ballerina doll, cast in best quality bisque porcelain and meticulously dressed to perfection by Louise Goldsborough of Angelique Miniatures.

This lovely old-fashioned ballerina wears a lavish costume of deep pink, rose pink and metallic gold pure silk, embellished with fancy floral and golden braid, delicate cotton lace and tiny pink crystals.

Her low-necked, off-the-shoulder bodice has rose pink puffed sleeves, each decorated with a large deep pink silk bow and over her shoulders are tiny matching bow-trimmed straps. The gold silk centre panel is criss-crossed with fancy golden cord and pink crystals. Fine ivory lace topped with floral braid and a silk bow completes the bodice. 

Her lavishly decorated skirt is supported by layers of frothy tulle worn over delicate silk lace-trimmed pantaloons. Her stockings are of finest cotton net with tiny seams and on the leather sole of each hand-crafted silk pointe shoe is the word ‘Angelique’ embossed in minute golden lettering. Around her neck is a choker of faux pearls and pink crystals, each one individually applied by hand. The ballerina’s flaxen blonde hair is styled into an intricate bun behind the frill of delicate ivory lace that frames her lovely and expressive face. 

This miniature porcelain ballerina doll is wired to make her partially poseable and is supplied on a painted removable golden stand. Each ‘Waiting in the Wings’ doll comes with her own numbered Limited Edition card.
