An afternoon stroll was just the thing for the fashionable young Regency lady to show off her latest walking dress. 

This pure silk old gold and ivory Empire style dress has fully lined bodice and sleeves. The bodice is made to look like a 'Spencer' jacket with gold coloured front buttons, collar and an under-bust belt. 

The bodice and skirt are trimmed with cream cotton lace and gold and cream fancy braid. The matching poke bonnet is also fully lined and the brim has an ivory shirred lining. The bonnet is lavishly decorated with lace, braid, feathers and rose buds.
