A traditional national costume for your 16" Kish girl based on those worn in the Norwegian region of Voss. 

This most attractive outfit consists of a dress with a plain black skirt and a red fully lined square necked bodice, decorated with brightly coloured jaquard ribbon. Incorporated into the bodice is a fine white cotton lawn blouse. 

Over the dress is worn a crisp white cotton apron with entre deux /faggoting detail near the lower edge. The apron is further embellished with finely woven jaquard ribbon. 

A fully lined red bonnet with matching decoration completes this lovely costume.
