Mary wears a beautiful Regency style silk and lace walking dress in delicate shades of pale pink and ivory. The V necked, high-waisted bodice has a pretty lace insert trimmed with pink picot braid, silk bows and a tiny silk rose.
The two piece sleeves end in a lace-frilled cuff and are trimmed with more silk bows. The skirt is overlaid with finest embroidered cotton lace and in one hand, Mary carries a matching lace reticule (Dorothy bag).
Underneath are lace trimmed cotton pantaloons, matching petticoat, lace stockings and silk trimmed leather shoes. A sumptuous straw bonnet embellished with silk, lace, roses, braid and pink feather frames Mary’s pretty face beautifully.
Mary’s little pet lamb wears a matching silk ribbon bow around his neck.
