A one-twelfth scale hand-crafted miniature porcelain doll dressed in fine silk in Medieval style robes.
One day a handsome prince was riding by when he saw the lovely princess sitting in the window of the tall tower and stopped to talk to her. Poor Rapunzel told the prince her sad tale. To cut a very long story short, the prince killed the wicked witch and called up to the lovely maiden ’Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your golden hair so that I can climb up and rescue you’.
So she did and they both lived happily ever after.
Rapunzel stands at five and a half inches tall with a long blonde plait, intertwined with gold braid. She wears a gown of royal blue silk trimmed with golden braid and a jewelled belt around her waist. Underneath is a rose pink silk under-gown and tiny blue silk pointed-toe slippers. Around her neck is a delicate necklace of blue crystals and pearls.
The prince stands at six inched tall and wears a tunic of burgundy silk and gold braid. His large top sleeves are slashed to reveal an ivory silk undershirt and around his shoulders is a fancy jacquard cloak lined with gold. His riding boots are made from real leather and he carries a sword from the belt around his waist.
