"Kished in Brittany"

A richly decorated costume for your 16" Kish girl based on those worn in the French region of Brittany.

The Breton people are descended from the Celts of Cornwall (the southern most county of the British Isles) and this Celtic influence is echoed in the lavish use of gold braid, lace and ribbon embellishing their local costumes.

This charming outfit consists of a black cotton dress with square neck and long sleeves, richly decorated with rows of gold braid, lace and pale blue satin ribbon. A large stiffened collar of white lace extends from the neck of the fully lined bodice and an apron of pale blue cotton edged with more lace is worn over the dress.

The pale blue, lace covered hat is typical of this region and is decorated with satin ribbon and a large 'bow' of stiffened white lace.

An absolute must for dolls who love lace!

These outfits, along with all the Kish range I offer, have been faithfully reproduced as close as possible to the real thing.
