'Once Upon A Time' - Poor Cinderella

'Once Upon A Time' is part of new deluxe Collection of miniature dolls I have created with attention to authenticity, intricate detail and using only fine fabrics.

‘Once upon a time there lived a very lonely young girl called Cinderella…’

‘Cinderella gazed wistfully at the beautiful glass slipper. It was the only thing left from her wonderful time at the ball, for her dress had turned back into rags and her wonderful carriage and horses had become just a humble pumpkin and two little mice.’

A charming one twelfth scale lady doll seated on a plain three legged wooden milking stool (made by Masters Miniatures).

Poor Cinderella is dressed in a plain ivory cotton peasant style blouse with a dark brown laced corset around her waist. Her burgundy cotton skirt is tattered and torn and she wears a plain cotton apron over it. Underneath she wears a pair of white cotton pantaloons along with a tattered petticoat. Cinderella’s beautiful long blonde hair tumbles loosely around her shoulders In one hand she holds a ‘glass’ slipper decorated with lace, silk bow and sparking crystal.

At her feet is a large pumpkin (made by Icklebits). This ensemble is completed with two tiny mice, one on the pumpkin and one on Cinderella’s lap.
