One twelfth scale miniature porcelain dolls standing approx five and a half inches tall. These hand crafted miniature porcelain character dolls depict Henry II and Eleanor of Aquataine who reigned 1154 - 1189 Eleanor is dressed in a rich red silk gown with embellished chain belt. On her head she wears a white mantle under her crown and has a gold coloured cloak edged in black and gold braiding. Her blonde hair is plaited in long braids. Henry II wears an antique gold coloured tunic tied with a braided belt. His cloak is heavily decorated and is lined in a plain red fabric. Henry's crown has tiny stones set into the band.
